This House Has a Door is committed to the prevention of family violence and building safer communities.
​
In 2008 social media became a medium and the THHAD web site was launched. Over the years, THHAD evolved, obtained volunteers and services increased. Faith-based counseling is provided, informational forums, distribution of educational materials and community service. What is most effective, is the dialogue of human conversation.

Purpose
​
To provide intervention and prevent violence in intimate partner and family relationships.
Increase awareness of the indicators and various causes of domestic violence.
To encourage improved self-care and making healthier life choices.

Beliefs
​
We believe that all persons are created equally by God and human life should be respected.
We believe in the preservation of healthy families which is rooted in the foundation of a safer vibrant human community.

This House Has A Door not only serves but welcomes you to join in the mission of peace.
