Homelessness & Domestic Violence

Tragically domestic violence can turn what was a place we called "my house, my home" into a place of hurt, pain and terror.  Someone being abused feels the desperation to find a  safe place, the need to flee becomes real.  The only option may be to leave......

Where can I go?

Who should I call?

I don't want any one to know...

If you choose to leave, try your best to trust yourself and be brave.  There are organizations and shelters that assist in finding you shelter.  If you don't know how or can't  research on the internet for local shelter, ask your local police department, or go to your local hospital emergency room. They will assist you.
